The control of inanimate particles is the primary objective. It mainly prevents airborne dust particles from contaminating working objects, generally maintaining positive indoor air pressure.
It is suitable for the precision machinery industry, electronics industry (semiconductor, integrated circuit, etc.), aerospace industry, high-purity chemical industry, atomic energy industry, optical-magnetic product industry (CD, film, tape production), LCD (LCD glass), computer hard disk, computer magnetic head production, and related industries.
It mainly controls the contamination of working objects by living particles (bacteria) and non-living particles (dust). It can be divided into:
A. General biological cleanroom: It mainly controls the contamination of microbial (bacterial) objects. At the same time, its interior materials must withstand erosion from a variety of sterilizing agents, generally maintaining positive pressure inside. In essence, its interior materials should be able to withstand various sterilization treatments of an industrial cleanroom. Applications include operating rooms, aseptic wards, food, cosmetics, beverage products production, animal laboratories, physical and chemical laboratories, blood stations, etc.
B. Biological safety cleanroom: It mainly controls the contamination of living particles from working objects to personnel and the outside environment. The interior should maintain negative pressure relative to the atmosphere. Examples include bacteriology, biology, clean laboratories, and physical engineering (recombinant genes, vaccine preparation).

Research object (main) |
Dust, particles only onc Hazards to process production e pollution
|
Living particles such as microorganisms and germs constantly grow and reproduce, which will induce secondary pollution (metabolites, feces). |
|
Control methods purification measures |
The main method is filtration.Coarse, medium, high, ultra high four filtration and chemical filters. |
The main measures include: eradication of microbial growth conditions, control of microbial brauchery, reproduction and cut off microbial transmission routes, filtration and sterilization. |
|
Control objectives |
Control the concentration of harmful particle size |
Control the generation, reproduction and spread of microorganisms, as well as their metabolites. |
|
Hazards to process production |
Even a single dust particle on critical components can cause significant damage to the product. |
Harmful microorganisms cannot cause damage until they reach a specific concentration threshold. |
|
Requirements for clean room building materials |
All materials (cleanroom walls, ceilings, floors, etc.) must not produce dust, accumulate dust, and must be wear-resistant. |
All materials must be resistant to water and corrosion and must not provide conditions for microbial reproduction. |
|
Control over the entry of persons and objects |
Personnel entering must change shoes, change clothes, and pass through air showers. Items entering must be cleaned and wiped. Personnel and materials should be separated and decontaminated independently. |
Personnel entering must change shoes, change clothes, and pass through air showers. Materials entering require cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization. Air must be filtered and sterilized, with personnel and materials routed separately for decontamination. |
|
Detection |
Dust particles can be detected by a particle counter and then displayed and printed. |
Microbial detection cannot measure instantaneous values, and colony counts can only be read after 48 hours of culture. |
