Between January 8 and 9, 2022, the Medical Environmental Engineering Professional Committee of the China Medical Equipment Engineering Association successfully hosted its first 2022 annual working meeting across the Jiangsu cities of Nanjing and Zhenjiang.

Organized by the Professional Committee of Pharmaceutical Environmental Engineering under the China Medical Equipment Engineering Association, the conference convened leading authorities and industry professionals. Distinguished attendees included prominent officials from the China Medical Equipment Engineering Association, the chairman, vice chairman, and secretary-general of the Medical Environmental Engineering and Environment Professional Committee, alongside engineering and equipment management specialists from leading pharmaceutical enterprises and engineering firms.

Opening remarks were delivered sequentially by Liu Weizhan, Secretary of the China Medical Equipment Engineering Association, Liang Lei, Deputy Director of the Medical Environmental Engineering Professional Committee of the China Medical Equipment Engineering Association, and Li Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Medical Equipment Engineering Association. Afterwards, Yang Fuchang, Secretary-General of the Medical Environmental Engineering Professional Committee, reviewed the major achievements of 2021 and outlined strategic work plans for 2022. Guest speakers then presented insightful keynote reports to foster in-depth discussions and technical exchange among all attendees.

Covering topics from the 14th Five-Year Plan to the strategic expansion of the biopharmaceutical industrial chain, in-depth discussions were conducted alongside the presentation of a report titled "Pharmaceutical Engineering in the Next Decade." In the coming years, the biopharmaceutical sector will demand higher cleanroom specifications, and enhancing clean service capabilities throughout the entire high-end manufacturing life cycle will rely on coordinated collaboration across the entire industry.

He delivered a keynote address titled "Several New Hotspots in the Construction of Bio-cleaning Engineering under the Post-epidemic Era." Analyzing bio-cleaning engineering practices from health and safety viewpoints, he emphasized that biosafety has become a critical global concern for humanity. As a fundamental challenge to human survival and development, it requires rigorous monitoring of biosafety risks, strengthening national biosafety frameworks, and building high-level biosafety laboratories that comply strictly with national standards.

He stressed the necessity of adhering to industry standards while delivering high-quality services to project owners and the broader market through multi-faceted, tiered strategies. Furthermore, he highlighted that collective dedication from all industry stakeholders will drive the continuous development and progress of the entire field.

On January 9th, Mr. Xu, President of Cnsterilezoom, led the conference delegates on an in-depth tour of the Cnsterilezoom Zhenjiang digital factory.

Attendees began by touring the facility's newly constructed exhibition center, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of Cnsterilezoom's corporate background, company culture, and specialized cleanroom enclosure system products, with a primary focus on cutting-edge solutions designed for electronic cleanrooms and medical cleanrooms.

Following this, the delegation visited the automated continuous production line facility for cleanroom panels, where Fei Xu, a digital consultant from Siemens, provided a comprehensive overview of the digital factory operations. The walkthrough allowed guests to witness the advanced potential of smart manufacturing while exploring the line's structural advantages, operational efficiency, and stringent quality control, demonstrating an integrated workflow from intelligent design through intelligent delivery.

Concluding the event, Qingchen Guo, Director of Cleanroom Products Sales, reviewed the ongoing evolution of Cnsterilezoom under the banner of "Clean space eternal beauty, Partners save worry and Users rest assured," outlining the firm's strategic advancement, innovative engineering solutions, and full-lifecycle service capabilities across its development.

The world's first automated continuous production line for flexible cleanroom panels is scheduled to begin commercial operations in March 2022.
